Wolfe's
debut CD, "Trust The Vibe"
offers mellow vocals stretched over an acoustic jazz
setting. An eclectic array of tunes ranging from jazz
standards to pop and soul gems. Backed by three of
Canada's premiere musicians — celebrated jazz guitarist
Sean Bray, bassist-extraordinaire George Koller and
reknowned saxophonist Pat LaBarbera — Wolfe brings
a classic yet contemporary approach to his material
and continues to win over audiences and critics alike.
His self-penned ballad Almost You was singled out
as a highlight, receiving attention from jazz radio
programmers throughout Canada and the United States.
Wolfe's version of Mais Que Nada was selected as one
of the top 20 tracks in 1999 on the nationally heard
CBC radio program "Disc Drive".
